The project to integrate a new claims management system in the composites sector was successfully completed thanks to the cooperation between the INTER Insurance Group and the adesso insurance solutions GmbH. The complete claim processing is now performed using the new system from in|sure General Claims.
At the beginning of the project, INTER defined concrete objectives for a future cooperation with adesso insurance solutions. The focus was placed on the integration of a new claims management system into the existing system landscape from INTER. Adesso was able to provide an initial test version already three months before the original milestone was reached. The product implementation of in|sure General Claims as a claims management system in the accident department occurred shortly thereafter. Thanks to better handling and more comprehensive data as well as user-friendlier operation of the new application, INTER was able to achieve a savings in time of 50 percent for new claims using the new system.
The successful integration of the complete claims system and subsequently a successive go-live for the entire private and commercial divisions, without the automobile division, occurred in a cooperation between INTER and adesso insurance solutions within a short period of time. The commercial liability and property insurance, including technical insurances, was a challenge here.
Klaus Schroth, director of Composite Central Claims Service, stated: “Through the uniform interfaces and the user-friendly operation throughout all divisions, the transition into the new claims system was simple for the users and could be operated immediately without extensive training needed. The ALADIN partial project Damage was a complete success due to the excellent and friendly cooperation with the adesso colleagues. From my point of view, the project could not have gone more pragmatically and efficiently. A partnership was created that we value and that will surely have a signaling effect for other current ALADIN projects.”
